Including the awkward ones. If yours is not here, message us and we will answer it — and add it.
Getting started
Do I need my own WhatsApp Business number?
Yes, and that is deliberate — the number, the WhatsApp Business Account and the Meta app stay yours. Meta's embedded signup runs inside our dashboard, so connecting takes a few minutes, and if you ever leave you keep the number and its message history. Some providers put your traffic on a number they own, which means your channel leaves when you do.
How long does it take to go live?
Most businesses are taking real orders or enquiries within a week. The WhatsApp number connects in minutes; what takes the time is Meta approving your message templates (usually hours, occasionally a day or two) and loading your menu or catalogue. If you want it done for you, the managed service covers exactly that.
Can I use my existing WhatsApp number?
Usually yes — but a number currently signed in to the normal WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app has to be migrated to the Business Platform, and once it is, the app stops working on that number. Many businesses keep their familiar number for the platform and move the handset to a new one. We will walk through it with you before anything changes.
What happens when the trial ends?
Nothing is deleted and nothing is charged automatically. The workspace moves to read-only until you pick a plan, so your contacts, conversations and catalogue are all still there when you come back. Fourteen days, every feature, no card to start.
Do my customers have to install anything?
No. That is the entire point. They use the WhatsApp already on their phone — no app download, no account, no password. A guest scans the QR code on the table and the menu opens in a conversation they already know how to have.
Pricing and billing
What does WhatsApp itself cost?
Meta charges per message for marketing, utility and authentication messages, and the rate varies by country. We pass that through at cost with no mark-up — it appears as its own line on your bill. Several competitors add a per-conversation fee on top of Meta's; that is the cost nobody quotes you up front, and it is the easiest thing for us to prove in a call.
Are seats and orders limited?
No. Team members, bot flows, catalogue items and orders are unlimited on every paid plan. Selling seats back to you describes our database rather than your business. The three things that genuinely scale with price are the number of WhatsApp numbers, your AI conversation allowance, and what the software can do at all.
Is AI an extra?
No. Every paid plan ships with AI answering from day one and an allowance that grows with the tier — 150 conversations a month on Starter up to 2,500 on Suite. Past your allowance it is a small metered rate per conversation, and that is the only AI charge. It is metered because the model bill is metered: a quiet month should not subsidise a loud one.
Can I pay yearly?
Yes — pay for ten months and get twelve. The yearly toggle on the pricing page shows the exact figure in your currency.
Which currency will I be billed in?
The one for your country. Prices are set per market rather than converted live, so a buyer in Kuwait sees a round KWD figure rather than a converted rupee price. India, Kuwait, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman each have their own price list; everywhere else is billed in US dollars.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Up or down, from the billing screen, taking effect on the next cycle. Cancelling stops the renewal and leaves your data exportable — contacts, conversations and orders, in a standard format, without asking us.
How the product works
What is the difference between the three workspaces?
Restaurant OS is table QR ordering, a kitchen screen, menus and bills. Commerce Suite connects your Shopify or WooCommerce store so orders and carts sit beside the chat. Sales CRM is for businesses that sell by conversation — agencies, brokers, clinics, consultants — with enquiries, pipeline, follow-ups and quotes. The Suite plan opens all three on one account.
What is an industry pack?
A configured starting point for your trade. Installing the travel pack creates the custom fields, pipeline stages, dispositions, message templates and web forms a travel agency needs, so the first screen you open speaks your vocabulary instead of a generic CRM's. There are packs for travel, real estate, education, healthcare, insurance, solar and consulting.
Will the AI say something wrong to my customer?
It answers from your catalogue, prices and FAQs rather than from general knowledge, and it is built to hand over to a person when it is unsure rather than to guess. You decide which conversations it may handle, you can read every exchange, and there is a per-account spend cap. The honest answer is that no AI is perfect, which is why handover and a full transcript are in the product rather than on a roadmap.
Can I run this from my phone?
Yes. Staff who are not at a desk install the mobile app from the browser — their queue, their reminders, their chats and push notifications. It is what field sales and delivery teams actually use.
Do you have an API?
A REST API covering everything the dashboard does, signed outbound webhooks with retries and a visible failure queue, and an MCP server so an AI client can drive your account as a set of tools. Available from the Growth plan up; the developer docs have the reference.
Data, security and support
Where is my data stored?
In the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) region on AWS. Conversations and customer records are encrypted in transit, and sensitive custom fields are encrypted at rest. The security page sets out the detail.
Can I get my data out?
Yes, from the dashboard, in a standard format, without asking us and without a fee. Export covers contacts, conversations, orders and the consent ledger. A platform that makes leaving difficult is relying on that difficulty.
How do you handle a customer's deletion request?
There is an erasure action in the dashboard that removes a contact and their messages, and a consent ledger recording who opted in, when, from where and what they were shown. DPDP and GDPR requests come with deadlines, so these are product features rather than a support process.
What support do I get?
WhatsApp and email, Monday to Friday, 10:00–19:00 IST, with a target of one business day — and usually much faster. Pro and Suite get priority. If you would rather not run it yourself at all, the managed service adds a named account manager who makes the changes for you.
What happens if WhatsApp goes down?
Messages queue rather than vanish, and failed deliveries land in a queue you can see and retry rather than disappearing. The status page shows what is up, including when the problem is at Meta's end rather than ours.
